Adding Up

It’s that time of year again. A walk on the heath revealed a few adders including this georgeous female. Normally when there’s a stick in the way I bend down and remove it … I gave it a miss this time.

Milky eyed stripping female

This Adder was one of four we saw on the Essex Birding Day Tour we did the other week. It’s a female judging by her ‘hips’ and general colouring, However her eyes are very milky indicating she’s about to shed her skin.

Website Down

Sometimes despite best intentions things go wrong. The wildlifetoursandeducation website is down and has been for around a week now. Frustrating or what! If you have any queries or bookings just give me a call on either 01263 576 995 or 07833 463 034. In the meantime here’s a photo of a local adder which sort of sums up the way I feel at the moment.
