The first bird to greet me as I arrived in Australia this month was the Superb Fairy-Wren. Never has a bird been so aptly named.
OMG!!! I so want to go to Australia and bird! And the #1 bird on my list is this wren. You’re so lucky!! Great pic!

Love it! Saw one in Mount Eliza, but couldn’t catch it as it was bobbing around so much!
As I type there are several singing outside right now!
Our most exotic avian here is a Green Woodpecker!
